Teachers' perspective to internalize Indonesian Islamic values in EFL learning at MTsN Semarang

This descriptive research was intended to analyze the teachers’ perspective to internalize Indonesian Islamic values in EFL learning at MTsN Semarang. The qualitative method was used to describe the results through interviews, observations and documentation as data triangulation. The data were analyzed descriptively by using three steps: data reduction or condensation, data display and conclusion drawing or verifying. The results showed that MTsN Semarang internalized Indonesian Islamic values to the students by still upholding Indonesian Islamic culture in every activities that were very reflective of Islamic culture that still occurred in society because English as a foreign language was closely related to cultural and religious differences.
